Bridge crossings at 22,147 one-way in September

Trips across the International Bridge continue to fair moderately in the second month since the Canadian land border opened to non-essential American traffic. In September, one-way crossings totaled 22,147, Sault Ste. Marie Bridge Authority says. Crossings from January to September stand at 132,759. Traffic is down 87 percent compared to the first nine months of 2019.
